Meet Your Instructor

Dr. Steven H. Dam, Ph.D., ESEP, is the President and Founder of SPEC Innovations with over 40 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, and structured analysis. He contributed to the development of major enterprise frameworks, including DoDAF, BEA, and NCES. Dr. Dam is the author of four books on systems engineering, including Real MBSE: Model-Based Systems Engineering Using LML and Innoslate, and is an INCOSE-certified Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP).

Meet Your Instructor

John Schatz, III is the Vice President of SPEC Innovations with over 30 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, and Test & Evaluation for defense and aerospace programs. He leads work with the U.S. Navy and designs Digital Engineering Environments supporting DoD research, development, and testing initiatives. He holds degrees from Cornell University and Virginia Tech.
